Customized Cursor? Serious?
Yes, I knew it’s kinds of an old fashion in Taiwan, BUT it’s really a plus to make your blog alive!
If you got an idea about your cursor design, that’s wonderful. But if you didn’t, don’t worry, cool cursors are there for you! As I mentioned before, though I’m not an expert about this, I do know who has this awesome resource to share, hehe!
So, let’s start! You’ll be surprised because it’s way toooo easy!!!
- No matter you have an idea or not, visit Blogspot Tutorial first. In the middle part, you can either upload your own image or just pick up an icon you like, and GET CODE!
- Navigate to your Blogger Dashboard –> Layout –> Add a Gadget –> HTML/Java Script –> Add Title & Content –> Save
Title and Content: Title is not important, just give it a name or leave it blank. And fill the code you just copied from Blogspot Tutorial to the Content column.
And, IT”S DONE!!!! Go check your personalized cursor through “View Blog” 🙂
If you’re a perfectionist, like me, then you’ll soon find out, “Oh my, why there’s an empty column in my sideline”??!!
So, here are some tips for you.
- Option 1: Just leave the title there, I don’t care…
- Option 2: Go back to edit this gadget and leave the title blank. Okayyyy, there’s no title there, BUT the space is still there…
- Option 3: The column disappeared though it’s not aligned perfectly. How? Let’s go edit this gadget through HTML manually.
-
- Navigate to your Blogger Dashboard –> Template –> Edit HTML. Scroll all the way down to the bottom, you’ll see all your gadgets are showed here. By searching your title (mine is cursor), you’ll find your id name (mine is HTML3). Write down this id, you’ll use this name later.
- Scroll up to the top, and search for <head>
with (Ctrl + F) –> Under that line, copy and paste below codes, and replace “YOUR-ID” with your id name)
<!– Hide Cursor Title Start by Princess Peach–>
<style type=’text/css’>
#YOUR-ID {display: none;}
</style>
<!– Hide Cursor Title End–>
- Option 4: It’s really a clever way! Move the content (code) and insert it to other gadgets formed by HTML/Java Script. Discard the original gadget, and, Ta Dang, everything is perfect now!!!!!
Hopefully it worked well and solved your problem!!
